Attacq, the JSE-listed owner and developer of an award‐winning property  portfolio, is delighted to announce that FNB Commercial Banking is the latest financial  services business to make Waterfall City its new home.

The move will see FNB’s commercial banking division take up occupancy within Waterfall’s  renowned Gateway West building. The decision is aligned with the banks desire to be closer  to its clientele in an effort to make its customers’ banking experience better, truly reflecting  its brand promise ‘How can we help you’. FNB’s relocation to Gateway West reinforces the  precinct’s position as the location of choice for some of the country’s leading financial  institutions.

FNB Commercial Banking Division provides solutions that take care of their clients’ evolving  day-to-day banking needs while ensuring their financial decisions optimise their working  capital.

Commenting on their move to Waterfall City, Nainesh Desai, Regional Director of FNB Commercial says, “Our number one priority at FNB is to create value for our clients through  partnership and a deep understanding of their business. Therefore, it was prudent to move to  Waterfall City, given where our clientele is located and Waterfall’s catchment area.”

Situated at the northern entrance to the Mall of Africa, Gateway West offers unparalleled  access to all the amenities Waterfall City has to offer, such as access to public transport, the  Gautrain bus stop, and the Gautrain station which is about 10 minutes away. Additionally,  Gateway West echoes one of Waterfall’s core values, locality, making it the place you need  to be.

We are excited about our new offices, the amenities on offer and proximity to our clients. We  firmly believe that the move to Waterfall will improve employee work life balance and also  enable us to deliver state-of-the-art personalised banking solutions that address our clients unique banking needs.” Concludes Nainesh.

Gateway West, one of Waterfall City’s prominent sites, given its mirror-image iconic design,  showcases Attacq’s ability to develop modern architecture buildings without compromising  sustainability. The gold LEED building is one of 20 buildings in Waterfall that have achieved a sustainability rating. It is a perfect fit for FNB as the bank takes pride in setting out  environmental policies that strictly regulate its direct environmental impact in its everyday  operations, like at its office premises.

At Attacq, we remain committed to creating remarkable experiences where our clients and  their people can connect and grow their businesses whilst enjoying the community-driven  precinct environment.” Says Giles Pendleton, Chief Development Officer at Attacq.  “We are beyond excited to have such an esteemed financial services brand join the Attacq  family.
