Running the SOLD OUT WCAC Half Marathon? Take the train.
Please join us in welcoming Gautrain as the official transport partner of the Waterfall City Half Marathon! Now you can take the Gautrain to and from Mall of Africa on Race Saturday, 12 September.
Here’s how to do it:
• When arriving at your Gautrain station, take a paper ticket when entering the parking.
• Show the Gautrain promoters your Waterfall City Half Marathon race number to get your Gautrain card.
• Take the train to Midrand Station.
• At Midrand Station, take the Gautrain shuttle bus to the start of the race at Mall of Africa.
• Trains will depart from 04:30.
• The bus shuttle service will run from 05:00 to 13:00.
• Last bus home will depart from Mall of Africa at 13:00 back to Midrand station.
• The Gautrain card will cover train, bus shuttle, and parking fare.
