Half a dozen Best in SA awards for Waterfall City
At the sumptuous African Property Awards ceremony held at the exclusive Habtoor Grand Resort in Dubai on 19 October 2023, Waterfall City won the Best Mixed-use Development in South Africa award for the ninth time in a decade. Waterfall City also walked off with three more Best in SA 2023-2024 accolades, namely Best Mixed-use Architecture, Best Developer Website and Best Development Marketing. In addition, Balwin Properties were awarded Best Leisure Development in South Africa for the Munyaka Lifestyle Estate, as well as Best Apartment/Condominium in South Africa for the Munyaka Penthouse in Waterfall City.
Coolest Mall Award
The youth has spoken! Mall of Africa retains its cool crown as the “Coolest Mall” for the sixth consecutive year at the 2023 Sunday Times Generation Next Awards.
Ellipse wins Best Residential Property
The recently held South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) conference began on a high note as Attacq and Tricolt won the Best Residential Property Development Award for Ellipse Waterfall.

Mall of Africa shines at SA’s top Shopping Centre Awards
Mall of Africa scooped seven wins in categories across the board, including the coveted Spectrum award, at the annual South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) Footprint Marketing Awards announced on 8 September.
